Asst. Prof. Dr. Şenol GÜLGÖNÜL graduated from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Bilkent University. He completed his M.Sc. at Gebze Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Sakarya University. He has taken part in several major national projects contributing to Turkey’s technological development, including the TURNET Internet infrastructure, Türksat 1A–1B, Türksat 3A, Türksat 3USAT, Türksat 6A satellite programs, the Türksat Observatory, the Türksat Atomic Clock and National Positioning System, and the Altay National Main Battle Tank project. His current research interests include control systems, embedded systems, FPGA, positioning systems, satellite communications, and artificial intelligence.
